- Plant room: air cooling suits well ventilated spaces, water cooling holds up better in hot or enclosed areas
- Ice type and melt rate: cube ice melts slowly, so a takeaway drink still tastes right after 30 minutes
- Range: from undercounter units to modular high output, matched to actual consumption

Installation notes
Ice machines need a dedicated water supply, drainage and power. Air cooled models require clearance for heat rejection; water cooled models need a cooling water source.
