Characteristic

 

The "Black Queen" grape—a specialty of Erlin, Changhua—serves as the heart and soul of this "Pu-Tao" wine (12% ABV). Following a two-week period of extended maceration that perfectly unlocks the grape's signature vibrant acidity and deep, rich color, the wine undergoes a month-long fermentation with added cane sugar. It is then skillfully blended with Black Queen wine that has been aged in oak barrels for a full year, allowing time to refine its character. This is more than just a bottle of wine; it is an experimental journey into the craft of fortification, marrying fruit-forward aromas with the transformative power of time.
