Characteristic
To assist the elderly and individuals with lower limb mobility impairments, this study combines a wheelchair with a walker to design an assistive device that integrates three core functions: seating, standing assistance, and walking support. The goal is to make mobility aids more convenient, labor-saving, and safer. The device's primary advantages lie in its ease of use, simple structure, and low manufacturing cost. Users can utilize a remote control to adjust the seat surface with a single click; as it rises slowly, it provides an ergonomic angle that makes standing up significantly easier for the elderly. Once standing, the user can simply turn around and grip the handles to use the device as a walking aid.
