Characteristic
Terroir:
An AOC village in Beaujolais, the local production of high-quality red wine suitable for aging, rather than Beaujolais new wine with a short drinking period. Morgon's soil is mainly composed of weathered granite and schist, so its iron content is richer than that of other villages. The wine produced smells like the earth and has a stronger and thicker taste than other villages.

Winemaking:
The grapes are picked manually, and undamaged high-quality grapes are strictly selected. Ancient brewing techniques are followed, and the whole bunch of grapes are fermented with natural yeast. The skin maceration time depends on the climate of the year, ranging from about 7 to 15 days, and then placed in a large tank for 6 to 15 months of lees aging. After bottling, it is stored for 12 to 15 months before being sold.

Tasting Note:
The appearance is dark ruby red with a hint of amber. Aged Beaujolais Cru has a unique flavor. The aroma of bay leaves and cherry berries is intertwined with the tannins, which appear to be rhomboidal and angular, with the texture of dark dried berries and woody aroma. The flavor is more intense and unique, allowing the taste buds to feel its details more than when it was young. Tension and power.
