Characteristic
Terroir:
The group of plots that make up le Terroir des Peyrals covers more than 19 hectares and is located on a series of limestone plateaus and slopes between 250-300 meters above sea level, overlooking the Etang de Thau and the Mediterranean Sea to the south. To the west are the Pyrenees and the Cevennes to the northeast. The soil is 100% limestone mixed with rock. Most of the plot's facades face northwest and are exposed to sea breezes as well as westerly and north/northeast winds. The plots are surrounded by forests of wild blackberry bushes and small pine trees. The characteristics of this terroir give the wines produced here fresh herb and mineral notes and great aging potential. Guided by the principles of sustainable economics and biodynamics. Eliminating the use of glyphosate in and around the vines and avoiding the use of chemical fertilizers entirely. For grapevine leaf diseases, we use natural treatments whenever possible. We pick it by machine at night to maximize its freshness. ROSE uses red grapes to directly press and ferment the grape juice in stainless steel barrels. The wine is left to rest for 24 months before shipment.

Tasting Note:
The nose of this wine is intense, opening with notes of melon, mango and just-ripe peaches, and captivating with hints of strawberry. The wine is medium-bodied, with ripe fruit tones and a creamy texture that carries through to the finish. Bright and ripe citrus tones follow, with mouth-watering texture, balanced acidity, roundness and a long, pleasant finish.
