Metabolic Syndrome Surpasses Cancer as Top Invisible Killer; Dietitian-Developed Supplement Earns National Quality Certification
TAIPEI, TAIWAN – According to the latest statistics from Taiwan's Ministry of Health and Welfare, deaths related to the "Three Highs"—high blood pressure, high blood sugar, and high cholesterol—reached approximately 61,000 in 2025. Surpassing cancer deaths for the first time, these chronic conditions have officially become the nation's leading invisible killer. In response to the growing and increasingly younger demographic affected by metabolic syndrome, a new premium metabolic supplement named "Sujitong" has been awarded Taiwan's prestigious Symbol of National Quality (SNQ) certification. The product was developed by a team of expert dietitians led by Chong-Tzu Chang, under the supervision of renowned nutrition authority Professor Ming-Che Hsieh.

High Stress! 1 in 4 Adults Affected by Metabolic Syndrome Data indicates that one in four adults aged 20 to 64 suffers from metabolic syndrome, with the prevalence of high cholesterol reaching 31%. Alarmingly, 40% to 70% of individuals are completely unaware of their abnormal health metrics. Experts point out that the high stress of modern life and a heavy reliance on dining out often lead to poor bodily circulation. Without timely dietary and lifestyle adjustments, these "symptomless" metabolic issues can quickly escalate into irreversible health crises.
An East-Meets-West Innovative Solution To address this critical health pain point, Ding Ding Health Science Research Co., Ltd. manufactured "Sujitong." Formulated by dietitian Chong-Tzu Chang's team, the supplement utilizes internationally patented ingredients, including Japanese lumbrokinase enzymes, Japanese patented hemoglobin, and Spanish hesperidin. These are combined with premium traditional Eastern botanical extracts to create a unique East-meets-West compound formula. Emphasizing top-tier safety and quality stability, Sujitong successfully passed the rigorous SNQ review process.
The SNQ judging panel emphasized that certified products must meet exceptionally high standards in both "practical efficacy" and "quality control." Receiving this certification indicates that Sujitong's manufacturing process and ingredients have been thoroughly vetted and recognized by national-level health experts.

Regulating Physiological Functions from the Root "During our clinical and nutritional consultations, we observed that many people, particularly the elderly, frequently suffer from the debilitating effects of poor circulation," stated Chong-Tzu Chang, the lead dietitian and product developer. "Relying solely on daily dietary adjustments is often too slow to provide meaningful relief."
Chang noted that the research team's core mission was to find a safe method that addresses these health issues at their root. By insisting on using globally patented ingredients and inviting Professor Hsieh to oversee the project, earning the SNQ certification serves as the ultimate validation of their R&D quality. Through the rigorous gatekeeping of professional dietitians and medical experts, the team hopes to help the public easily regulate their physiological functions and protect their most precious asset: their health.
