Made from lightly peated and unpeated malted barley, and distilled in large copper pot stills, Miyagikyo Distillery whiskies express distinctive fruity aromas and a delicate, refined palate.<br/><br/>Color: Deep gold.<br/>Nose: Rich and expressive aromas with notes of iris, malted barley, banana, licorice, floral tones, and beeswax.<br/>Palate: Lively and elegant, featuring malted barley, licorice, spices (ginger and cinnamon), chocolate, and herbal notes, complemented by fresh tobacco leaves and coconut.<br/>Finish: Long and mellow, with hints of faded rose petals, subtle citrus acidity (lemon and grapefruit), tobacco, spices (cardamom and ginger), roasted nuts, stewed fruits (apple and plum), and lychee.<br/><br/>Recommended Serving Style: Neat or on the rocks.<br/>Suggested Pairings: Dried fruits, almonds, sheep’s milk cheeses (such as Manchego or Pecorino), or cured meats.
