Designed around the concept of “a small block of whisky”<br/>First launched in 1985, it has become Nikka Whisky’s best-selling product overseas<br/><br/>Nikka From The Barrel was developed to deliver the full richness and intensity of whisky “straight from the barrel” — a character traditionally experienced only by master blenders while nosing and tasting directly from casks. Its complex recipe is created by blending more than 100 different batches of malt and grain whiskies. After blending, the whisky is returned to used casks for several additional months of maturation. The secret behind its luxurious flavor lies in its intricate blend, robust 51.4% ABV, and the unique “marriage” process, which harmonizes all components to create a remarkably rounded texture.<br/><br/>Color: Rich golden amber.<br/>Nose: Delicate yet complex, featuring floral notes of lilac alongside apricot, clove, and leather aromas.<br/>Palate: Powerful and structured. Pepper and oaky wood tones gradually evolve into ripe peach, caramelized apple, and honeysuckle-like floral notes.<br/>Finish: Long and complex, with ripe plum and peach complemented by vanilla infused from the oak casks.<br/><br/>Recommended Serving Style: Neat, on the rocks, highball, mizuwari, or in cocktails.<br/>Suggested Pairings: Foie gras, chicken liver, mushrooms, or chocolate pie.
