A Fusion of Taiwanese Millet Wine and Japanese Sake Brewing Craftsmanship

By sourcing organic glutinous millet from small-scale farmers in eastern Taiwan, we combine traditional millet winemaking with refined Japanese sake brewing techniques to create an innovative expression of two distinct cultural heritages.

This signature sake of Tomuwine offers a bright citrusy acidity, followed by a lingering sweetness of rice that gently unfolds in the mouth. It pairs beautifully with ice, sparkling water, or fruit juice for a refreshing twist.

Crafted with organic millet from Guangfu, Hualien, this elegant brew undergoes meticulous processes including sieving, washing, soaking, steaming, fermenting, sedimentation, and filtration. The result is a clear, amber-hued sake that reflects nature’s gift — a Taiwanese millet sake embodying the heartfelt wish for “all things to go smoothly.”

In earlier days, millet wine was a precious offering reserved for ceremonies, festivals, and honoring guests. Today, it has become a warm expression of connection among neighbors and communities. Rich, mellow, and smooth, millet sake captures the essence of Taiwan’s hospitality — a drink not just of flavor, but of heartfelt sharing.
Within each sip, you taste the sincerity, the tradition, and the warmth of the land and its people.
