Taichung’s tourism appeal continues to shine brightly on the international stage! Recently, major South Korean media outlets have published over a dozen in-depth features highlighting Taichung’s "green tourism experiences," "unique tourism factories," and "local culinary culture," inviting the South Korean public to immerse themselves in the rich ecological, cultural, and gastronomic heritage of central Taiwan.

Amidst this wave of international media coverage, the "ABAS Distillery Story House"—located in the Da-an District along Taichung’s coast—was honored to be selected as a representative attraction. Rooted in the Da-an Port area, ABAS has long upheld a commitment to contract farming with local smallholders and adheres to traditional, time-honored craftsmanship, utilizing pure-grain solid-state fermentation and an eighteen-month aging process. Through the lens and prose of South Korean media, the Story House has not only showcased its unique blend of cultural tours and tasting experiences to an overseas audience but has also introduced international travelers to the authentic character of Taiwan’s additive-free, locally crafted spirits.

ABAS notes that Taichung boasts abundant natural and cultural assets; as the city’s international profile rises, the Story House is honored to play a role in promoting Taichung to the world. Moving forward, the distillery remains dedicated to cultivating local craftsmanship and sustainable tourism, warmly welcoming travelers from across the globe with fine spirits that embody the essence of Da-an’s coastal breeze and the warmth of artisanal dedication.
