The "10th TPO (Tourism Promotion Organization for Asia Pacific Cities) Forum," a major event for urban tourism in the Asia-Pacific region, kicked off grandly in Taichung on the 17th, bringing together representatives from cities across the globe and distinguished industry guests. "ABAS Distillery Story House," a local brand from Taichung’s Da’an District, was honored to participate in the event's banquet. They brought a locally crafted spirit—embodying the unique terroir of the coastal region—to the international table, showcasing the profound charm of Taiwan’s traditional brewing craftsmanship through flavor.

During the banquet, two signature spirits were showcased, each blending traditional heritage with local character: a mellow, complex, and aged *Daqu* spirit produced through a meticulous pure-grain solid-state fermentation process; and an Oolong tea plum liqueur that harmoniously combines local tea aromas with the sweet-and-sour notes of plums, offering a smooth, lingering finish. Both spirits, with their rich and layered flavor profiles, were highly praised and enjoyed by the international guests in attendance.

ABAS Distillery Story House noted that every glass of local spirit tells a story of the land and the dedication of the artisans who crafted it. They hope that this international gathering will allow travelers from around the world to discover Taichung’s Da’an District through the pure aroma of the spirit, and help bring Taiwan’s local spirits culture to a broader global stage.
