Characteristic

Harvested from multiple Gewürztraminer vineyards surrounding Niederkirchen, the grapes were gently pressed immediately after picking. Spontaneous fermentation occurred using native yeasts. The wine was primarily aged in used oak barrels, with a portion resting in clay vessels. After maturation, it was bottled without fining or filtration, and with only a minimal addition of sulfur.<br/><br/>The aroma showcases the variety’s signature floral notes, accompanied by yellow stone fruits and ripe pear. The acidity is delicate, and the body is light. When served well-chilled and slightly aerated, it performs beautifully both on its own or paired with light dishes. A perfect introduction to natural wines for beginners.
