The German company Milk & Whey Ingredients (MWI) separates whey by-products from the milk in cheese manufacturing process, and extracts whey protein of different specifications in different ways, which conforms to Kosher and Halal food standards. Furthermore whey protein of MWI is suitable for ovo-lacto vegetarians and is white to creamy in color. For the whey protein instant certified non modified sunflower lecithin is used. After testing by the word drug control organization (WADA), it can be safely consumed by athletes.
◼︎The protein in dry matter content of whey protein concentrate (WPC) is at a minimum of 80%, which is the most basic form and includes various protein fractions such as immunoglobulins and alpha-lactalbumin.
◼︎There is a minimum of 90% protein in dry matter in whey protein isolate (WPI). WPI is a high-quality whey protein and low in fat and lactose.
◼︎In addition to cheese whey proteins MWI produces native whey proteins which are directly extracted from fresh skim milk by gentle membrane filtration technology, which can retain the natural structure and functional properties of the protein. Native whey is rich in BCAA and EAA such as leucin, cysteine and tryptophan, which not only can be used as sports nutrition and protein supplements, but also as a source of amino acid-tryptophan for infant growth, therefore it has a very high value for baby product applications.
Native whey proteins provide pure taste and are clear in solution. Due to their functional and national properties they can be flexibly applied to various nutritional or general food.
