From Hive to Glass – Taiwanese Beekeeper Presents the Pure Taste of Mead

From the hives of New Taipei to the glasses of wine lovers, young Taiwanese beekeeper “Sanbao Dad” is set to showcase his artisanal mead collection at the 2025 Taipei World Trade Center International Wine Exhibition (Booth P119). His philosophy is simple yet profound: “From Hive to Glass.”

By personally tending the bees and harvesting the honey, Sanbao Dad ensures every bottle is crafted with 100% pure honey as the sole fermentation ingredient—no added sugar, no fruit juice—capturing the authentic terroir of Taiwan’s seasonal blossoms.

At this year’s exhibition, three distinctive mead series will be presented:

• 閨MEad: 16% pure mead, rich and elegant, highlighting honey’s premium character.

• 尋MEad: 38.5% honey shochu, blending honey with chestnut sweet potato for a bold, innovative spirit.

• 覓MEad: 3% sparkling mead, light and refreshing, designed as an entry-level choice for first-time drinkers. A special 2025 Spring Limited Edition will also debut, capturing the unique flavors of Taiwan’s spring blossoms—an unrepeatable vintage shaped by the year’s bloom and climate.
