The major sliced veneer producers use the press dryers to obtain flat and smooth veneers. Grenzebach press dryers are synonymous with quality and reliability. Other key features are easy maintenance and a low energy consumption. Grenzebach offers a wide range of accessory and optional systems for use with its press dryers, such as automatic and semi-automatic feeders, unloaders, heat recovery systems and initial and final moisture detectors. The Grenzebach Thermojet Compact and the Thermojet Midi press dryers have been specially developed for applications in the sliced veneer industry that require lower throughputs. These press dryers require less capital investment but nevertheless produce press dried veneers that meet all quality criteria of today's markets. A heated dryer length of 30 m corresponds to more than 90 m conveyor length. With conveying speeds of up to 67 m/min these dryers are among the giants in their field.
