This unique blend combines the gentle sweetness of Italian amaretto with the distinctive essence of Caribbean rum, creating a treat tailored for the refined tastes of rum enthusiasts!

THE STORY OF A BEAUTIFUL ASSOCIATION WITH A RUM PERSONALITY, LUCA GARGANO

The journey commenced in 2017 at WHISKY LIVE, where ADRIATICO's founders, Jean-Robert Bellanger and Thomas Benoit, crossed paths with Luca Gargano, the visionary behind VELIER house. Prior to the Trinidad and Tobago state distillery's closure in 2003, Gargano, renowned for his discerning taste, acquired a portion of its rum barrels, now prized possessions among collectors. CARONI has since become a sought-after treasure.

Driven by a shared passion for Italy and fine spirits, the trio embarked on a venture to unite the essence of this liqueur with ADRIATICO's roasted, salted almonds and the distinct aromas of Caribbean rum. Gargano generously provided three Caroni barrels from 1996 for this endeavor.

Over 12 months, the almond distillate, in its "Full Proof" rendition, matured under the watchful eyes of the producers, basking in the Italian climate. Before bottling, a blend of aromatic elements characteristic of ADRIATICO—cinnamon, coffee, cocoa, and a dash of Adriatic fleur de sel—was delicately infused into each cask.

The outcome? An unexpected fusion of roasted, salty almond flavors melded with the complex character of rum, culminating in a delightful amaretto experience.

ADRIATICO Roasted Almonds X CARONI Cask Aged debuts as a limited release of 1500 bottles, adorned with an elegant black and orange label—a negative rendition of ADRIATICO's signature label, accented with CARONI's distinctive orange line. A beautiful individual case completes the offer.
