Botanical Drug Development Consortium (BDDC) was started in 2013 and operated in 2015. In November 2019, BDDC was officially recognized and authorized by the Ministry of the Interior. The association was rooted in the Botanical Drug Group in Development Center for Biotechnology (DCB). The team has assisted 12 new botanical drug gaining approvals of clinical trials from the USFDA and/or TFDA under the leadership of Dr. Yuh-Shan Chung for 21 years.
