The following subsidies must be applied for with the exhibition organizer, Chan Chao International Enterprise Co., Ltd., within 2 months prior to the exhibition. Applications must pass qualification reviews before applicants can purchase flight tickets and receive a list of contracted hotels. If applicants purchase flight tickets or book rooms without approval from the organizer, they will bear all costs and be considered to have forfeited the subsidy application.

Application Period

From Wednesday, May 8, 2024, to Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at 23:59.

Incentives are limited and will be announced on this page if the quota is filled earlier than the deadline. No further notice will be provided.

Eligibility

Category 1: Key Foreign Buyers

• Buyers from developed countries (Note 1) whose companies have achieved an annual revenue of at least USD 15 million in any of the past three years.
• Buyers from emerging markets (Note 2) whose companies have achieved an annual revenue of at least USD 1.5 million in any of the past three years.
• Top three importers, wholesalers, or chain stores in their region.
• Venture capital firms with a total investment of at least USD 25 million, or a minimum of USD 25,000 per investment with at least 20 investments.

Category 2: Small and Micro Enterprises Foreign Buyers

• Buyers from developed countries (Note 1) whose companies have achieved an annual revenue of at least USD 300,000 in any of the past three years.
• Buyers from emerging markets (Note 2) whose companies have achieved an annual revenue of at least USD 100,000 in any of the past three years.

Notes:

• Applicants must not accept other preferential subsidies or incentives from the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) in the current year.
• Applicants must hold a non-Taiwanese passport; green cards or any other residency permits are not accepted.
• Companies that are foreign subsidiaries, overseas headquarters/branches, or affiliated companies of exhibitors are not eligible for the subsidy.

Note 1: "Developed countries" refers to high-income countries as defined by the World Bank: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bahamas, Barbados, Bahrain, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Cyprus, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Kuwait, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Qatar, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, Uruguay.

Note 2: "Emerging markets" refers to countries other than those listed as "developed countries" above.

Category 1: Key Foreign Buyers

Airfare

• One round-trip economy class ticket from the buyer's country to Taiwan.
• Must spend at least 2 days in Taiwan during the exhibition period.
• Applicants must apply to Chan Chao International Enterprise Co., Ltd. within the application period and submit relevant documents. Upon approval, they may purchase tickets or request TAITRA's overseas offices to arrange ticket purchases.

Accommodation

• Up to TWD 20,000 for hotel accommodation and airport transfer services.
• The stay must be between the night before the exhibition opens and the night it closes, for a maximum of 4 nights.
• Must stay at designated hotels, with billing and documentation handled by the hotel. The hotel will directly claim the amount from the competent authority after the exhibition.

Category 2: Small and Micro Enterprises Foreign Buyers

*Only one application per foreign company for accommodation subsidy.

Accommodation

• Up to TWD 15,000 for hotel accommodation and airport transfer services.
• The stay must be between the night before the exhibition opens and the night it closes, for a maximum of 4 nights.
• Must stay at designated hotels, with billing and documentation handled by the hotel. The hotel will directly claim the amount from the competent authority after the exhibition.

2. The organizer will submit the application to the authority for review within 15 to 30 working days upon receipt. Applicants will be notified whether their application has been approved. All results will be informed by Tuesday, July 16. If you have not received notification by then, please contact us by email or phone to confirm.

Additional Notes

• To ensure the rights of all exhibitors, each exhibitor is limited to inviting a maximum of 3 individuals.
• Any changes to the room type, costs outside the scope of this service, or cancellations will be borne by the applicant.
• Applicants must hold a non-Taiwanese passport; green cards or any other residency permits are not accepted.
• The company name and applicant's name on the documents must match those listed in the approval letter.
• Subsidies will not be provided if the applicant's identification is in question or if there is no record of their attendance.
• Questionnaires must include the procurement items and transaction amounts; otherwise, reimbursement will not be possible.
• Accommodation is limited to designated hotels, with reimbursement based on actual expenses reported by the hotel. Personal expenses cannot be included.
• Costs for accompanying persons are not covered by the subsidy.
• This subsidy aims to invite international buyers to visit Taiwan and facilitate international business opportunities, thereby boosting the Taiwanese automation industry's expansion into overseas markets.
• The organizer reserves the right to make final modifications, changes, interpretations, and cancellations of this event.
