Characteristic
The static switching modules of the JK3PSZT3 are the basic building block for the construction of static capacitor banks
for power factor correction purposes.These capacitor banks use thyristors instead of the classic contactor.
They are ideal in insatllation where the leakage current suffers quick and large fluctuations (load changes in intervals
that can range from split seconds to 8 or 10 seconds.)
Designed for power factor correction purposes in networks with fluctuating loads.The variations in power are relative
fast (in milliseconds) so that the switching operations are carried out by thyristor (SCR) and switching at voltage
zero-crossing control board,so that the connection and disconnection of the capacitor is carried out with zero voltage
difference. To obtain the the immediate response to the load fluctuations.
After sampling the three phase power factor through APFR, the SCR thyristor switch can improve the power factor of each phase respectively.
Each thyristor switch at each STS section can be operated as switch. That is, the three phase circuit is equipped with
independent SCR thyristor unit, and zero-point switch-on/off controlling component, so as to prevent surge voltage and current.
