The Andong soju has been designated as the 12th intangible cultural asset of Gyeongsangbuk-do province and the 20th traditional food celebrity. The name Andong soju comes from<br/>the city of Andong in Gyeongsangbuk-do province, which is considered one of the best soju production sites in Korea.<br/><br/>Andong soju originated in the Goryeo Dynasty and is made using traditional steam distillation methods.<br/><br/>Its unique taste and aroma come from domestically grown rice and naturally occurring rock water, which are fermented together and then distilled under reduced pressure to create rice<br/>liquor. Andong soju is then frozen, filtered, and aged for a long time, giving it a pure taste. It is refreshing to drink and beloved by many liquor enthusiasts.
