Characteristic
Ceramic balls, especially silicon nitride balls, possess characteristics such as low density, high hardness, low friction coefficient, anti-magnetism, electrical insulation, wear resistance, self-lubrication, and rigidity, among others. Ceramic balls are particularly suitable for high-speed, high-precision, and long-life rolling in ceramic ball mixers (with metal inner and outer rings). In general, the inner and outer rings are made of steel (GCr15) or stainless steel (AIS440C, 316, 304), while the ceramic balls can be made of ZrO2, Si3N4, or SiC.
Ceramic ball bearings: With the advancement of high-speed operations, ceramic materials (mainly referring to Si3N4) have become the ideal materials for high-speed precision bearings. This is due to their small density, high elastic modulus, low expansion coefficient, wear resistance, high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and other characteristics. Our high-speed precision ceramic bearings utilize Si3N4 ceramic rolling elements, both on the inner and outer rings. The accuracy level of these bearings is P4 or higher.
