Introduction of bio-based TPU
The bio-based TPU is processed and synthesized from raw materials of renewable sources. According to the different main functional groups of the chemicals, it can be divided into polyester-based bio-based TPU and polyether-based bio-based TPU.
Our current main product with product code# E85A is polyether bio-based TPU, the bio-based content is 57% which is certified by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), and has obtained the certification label corresponding to 57% bio-based content officially issued by the USDA.
Polyether-based bio-based TPU can be applied to all fields of various general-purpose polyether-based petroleum-based TPUs, including but not limited to wire and cable sheathing, 3C sheathing, lagging, and shock-absorbing pads, recyclable and low-carbon requirements films, sheets, etc.
