Driven by a deep respect for terroir, winemaker Erin Frances Pooley released the brand&#39;s debut vintage from high-elevation sites in Northern California. Yet, Erin always harbored a long-standing dream: to bring this craft back to her home country of Australia. In 2020, that dream became a reality in the Victorian High Country. In this new home, Erin combines her winemaking experience across California and the Yarra Valley with inspiration drawn from the natural wine movements of France’s Loire Valley and Jura, translating them into flavors unique to cool-climate Australia.<br/><br/>As a shining representative of the new-generation natural wine movement, Little Frances embraces a clear core philosophy: crafting highly drinkable wines defined by &quot;freshness, purity, and crisp precision.&quot; In Erin’s winemaking world, each bottle is not merely a product of fermentation, but a culmination of a lifetime of winemaking experience and thoughtful reflection.
