Dhaka, Bangladesh – January 12, 2024: Following its success as a distinguished international fair, IPF Bangladesh 2024 - The 16th Bangladesh International Plastics, Printing, and Packaging Industry Fair gears up for a new milestone. Organized by Bangladesh Plastic Goods Manufacturers & Exporters Association (BPGMEA) and Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service Co., Ltd., the exhibition will take place at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) from January 24 to 27, 2024.

Driven by a steady 4.5% annual growth rate, Bangladesh's plastics sector is booming. Exports surpassing $1.2 billion showcase the potential of this dynamic industry, with packaging driving significant expansion. This strong performance highlights the sector's ability to withstand challenges and its important role in contributing to Bangladesh's economic development.
Global Reach, Diverse Showcase
This year, the exhibition expects to gather 354 exhibitors from 18 countries and regions, covering 18,000 square meters with 800 booths, highlighting Bangladesh's high-potential market position. The participating countries and regions include Austria, Belgium, China, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United States, Vietnam, and Bangladesh. Leading industry players will showcase machinery, raw materials, auxiliaries, quality detection equipment, and component parts featuring renowned international brands.
Highlighted Exhibitors of This Year
Among the highlighted exhibitors in the plastics sector are CHESO from Singapore, YIZUMI, BORCH, and BOLE from China, WORLDLY, PHON TECH, LONG NEW from Taiwan, and CARBOKENE FZE, RICHFIELD TRADING from the United Arab Emirates, and LIFELINE from India. The printing sector will gather HORNTACH from Taiwan, M-DEC from Singapore, and UNIQUE NEW MATERIAL from China. In the packaging sector, HSIEH HSU from Taiwan, REIFENHAUSER from India, and CUTECH from China will present innovative solutions. The noteworthy local giants, such as BENGAL GROUP OF INDUSTRIES, AMAN PLASTIC, TPC, and other members of BPGMEA will jointly display their products and services this year.

Concurrently, BPGMEA will host a series of seminars on January 25-26, 2024, to discuss key issues and provide practical solutions for the growth of the country’s plastic industry. The seminars will focus on:
- Skill development in the plastic sector
- SME development in the plastic sector
- Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
- Green growth: Exploring investment avenues in sustainable printing, packaging, and plastic industries for the circular economy in Bangladesh
