Characteristic

AP1080 is a new efficient halogen-free flame retardant based on organic phosphinates and nitrogen. The product is a white granule, has high phosphorus content, low water absorption, no hydrolysis, no precipitation, insoluble in water and acetone, dichloromethane, butanone, toluene and other organic solvents. The polymer containing AP1080 can expand the carbon layer in the process of combustion, which can prevent fire and flame retardation.In 30% glass fiber reinforced PBT/PA6, adding 18% (by weight), it can reach UL94 V-0(0.8, 1.6mm). The difference in formula and processing may lead to the difference in the addition of the flame retardant.
