Characteristic
It comes into the glass lightly moussing. The sparkling nature continues on the tongue. Delightfully tangy with hints of lychee, meadow hay and a bit of grapefruit on the finish, it demonstrates how interesting the white side of Pinot Noir can be. It delights with a beautiful interplay between filigree style, pleasantly animating fruit and wonderfully precise acidity.<br/>A white wine made from red grapes is called Blanc de Noir, French for "white from black". The red pigment is located in the skins. It is very important for a Blanc de Noir that berries with undamaged skins are pressed immediately after harvest. After pressing the wine is aged on it‘s lees in a steel tank. Perfect match to asian food or fish, as well vegetarian dishes.
