**RP 89 (Rating)**<br/><br/>The Pierre Boisson estate is a family-owned boutique winery located in the village of Meursault in the C&#244;te de Beaune region of Burgundy, France. In the mid-20th century, the Boisson family planted their first Aligot&#233; vines; later, owner Bernard Boisson expanded the vineyards in the village of Meursault and continued to acquire new parcels. The estate&#39;s name combines the surname of the owner&#39;s wife, resulting in Domaine Boisson-Vadot. In 2016, with the retirement of the former owner Bernard Boisson, the wines previously labeled Domaine Boisson-Vadot are now marked with the names of his children, Pierre Boisson and Anne Boisson. The siblings carry on their father&#39;s vineyard legacy, and all wines are produced and bottled in the family cellar located in Meursault, continuing to yield high-quality wines.<br/><br/>**Terroir and Winemaking Process:**<br/>The family’s vineyards cover a total area of 10 hectares, with white wine production primarily from parcels in Meursault, Auxey-Duresses, M&#226;con, and Bourgogne Aligot&#233;. Additionally, there are small plots for red wine in Monthelie and Pommard. Anne Boisson (daughter of former owner Bernard Boisson-Vadot) manages 1.5 hectares of these vineyards. The family practices sustainable viticulture, respecting natural processes without the use of chemical fertilizers. Grapes are hand-harvested, and the winemaking process utilizes indigenous yeasts, long aging in oak barrels, and no filtration before bottling.<br/><br/>**Wine Quality:**<br/>The wine offers a blend of apple and pear aromas, complemented by toasted nuts, citrus oil, and hints of smokiness. It has a rich bouquet, bright acidity, and a medium to full-bodied profile with excellent tension.<br/><br/>**Serving Temperature: 7-8&#176;C <br/>**Food &amp; Wine Pairing : Wine-steamed clams, fresh shrimp salad.
