In mid-summer 2010, three former directors of the Taiwan Tobacco and Liquor Monopoly Bureau co-founded HOMETOWN with a mission to brew good liquor. Since then, solid-state fermentation and exclusive triple distillation technology have been used to remove impurities such as aldehydes and ketones, creating a high-quality spirit with "no headaches, no overpowering odors, and no hangovers."
