Characteristic
V-shaped drippers are known for extracting coffee with a pleasant clarity and acidity, but compared to flat-bottom drippers, they can exhibit significant variability depending on the person brewing. The UFO Dripper is designed to mitigate this variability by setting its internal angle to 80°, gently adjusting the drip angle and thereby reducing extraction inconsistencies for a stable coffee extraction. It was used by Japan's representative barista, Iidaka, who ranked 2nd place in the world, at the 2024 World Brewers Cup (WBrC).
