Pain points of filter paper:
The elements of hand-brewed coffee include coffee beans, grinders, equipment and corresponding techniques. However, commercially available filter paper has the following problems:
Paper smell problem: Commercially available filter paper, regardless of whether the base material pulp used is herbaceous or woody, needs to go through some processing procedures. This may result in residual paper flavor and affect the taste of the coffee. Often, to remove this taste, people rinse the filter paper with hot water before brewing.
Clogging problem: Some filter papers are prone to clogging during the brewing process, over-quenching the coffee, and producing off-flavors.
Flow rate is difficult to control: The quenching flow rate of filter paper is usually difficult to adjust, and it is not easy for ordinary people to master, unless they are professional hand flushers.
Differences in paper properties: There are great differences in the properties of the original paper between different filter papers, such as the length, thickness and toughness of the fibers. Similar to the radish on the market, there are many variations. Therefore, it is relatively difficult to produce standardized filter paper.
Advantages of non-woven filter paper: Some hand-brew baristas believe that compared with ordinary filter paper, non-woven filter paper is more standard, especially the professionally manufactured V42 multi-layer filter paper. It needs to be emphasized that the non-woven fabric here is completely different from the non-woven fabric of the mask, including the density, material and production process.

Advantages of non-woven filter paper: Compared with traditional pulp filter paper, non-woven filter paper has no smell of pulp or bleach, while retaining the flavor of coffee oil, giving coffee a richer taste and better flavor.

The idea:
After months of research, observation and testing, we successfully developed a superior filter cup solution. During the initial development phase, we conducted an in-depth study of the different filter bowl shapes on the market, including cones, trapezoids, triangles, quadrilaterals and polygons. However, after repeated testing, we determined that the V42+ hexagonal filter bowl is superior and can adapt to a variety of different cups. In order to make it easier for customers to use this filter cup, we use silicone material, which is heat-resistant and reusable. We offer two optimization modes for customers to choose from: folded and unfolded to use the filter bowl at the best angle. This is the final version of the perfect product that meets every customer need.

Environmental protection and ESG:
We take it as our mission to provide high-quality products, and our Yundouzi R&D team is deeply rooted in the concept of environmental protection. Affected by factors such as global warming, plastic restriction laws, and increased global environmental awareness, some products no longer meet the classic needs of the market. Recently, our international customers, including the United States and Japan, have increasingly requested environmentally friendly solutions and certifications from us.

​Our environmental protection process can be summarized into three stages:
Before 2020, we used general non-woven materials to make V42 filter paper.
The current V42+ multi-layer filter paper uses degradable Degrade material, and the hexagonal filter cup is reusable. Compared with other ear-hook bag products, we are more in line with environmental protection requirements.
In addition, we have adopted R&D strategies in advance and have completed two more environmentally friendly solutions to achieve higher environmental benefits:
A. Biodegradable solution, including catalytic factors.
B. Obtain Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certification. According to general requirements, the recyclable ratio is 20%, and the EU requirement is 30%. We use recycled polyester (rPET) material, which is PET bottle recycling material, and are expected to reach a recycling rate of 50%.
The reason why we are promoting both directions A and B at the same time is because at the environmental protection conference in France last year, EU member states reached a consensus: Although both biodegradable and global recycling standards can be certified, they prefer to focus on recycling. Reuse to further reduce waste generation and achieve greater environmental benefits.
In addition, our outer packaging is also of high value. The filter paper is packaged in a professional silicone filter cup, which can be changed into three types and six flow rates. There is no redundant part and it is environmentally friendly.
