Characteristic

Ngorongoro is a huge crater in northern Tanzania. The crater, 20 km in diameter and 600m deep, is designated as a nature reserve and is a treasure trove of wildlife. COFFEE HUNTERS found a wonderful coffee plantation on the perimeter of this crater. It is the Ngorongoro Convent Coffee Estate. Currently, six Tanzanian sisters are working hard to cultivate coffee. It has a sweetness reminiscent of chocolate and several kinds of fruit, a gentle acidity, and subtle complex aromas such as spices, florals, and a roasted aroma like arare, which gives it depth.
