Characteristic

 

Thermal transfer ribbons are mainly divided into wax , semi and resin types. Wax ribbons are used
in art paper which can be printed more clear but not so scratch- resistant than semi ones. The
semi ones are broadly used in surface treatment art paper ,synthetic and dyeing stickers which are
more scratch -resistant than wax ones. The last ones are resin ribbons which is normally used in
PET materials ( silver, gold and transparent ones) and are more water-resistant and scratch-resustant.
The advanced resin ribbons are also UL certified for 3 C computer peripherals and
appliances applications which are more scratch-resistant and alcohol-resistant.

Besides black ribbons we also provided more versatile of color ribbons and metallic ones for
mainly used in plastic materials.
