The representatives of the ceremony expressed their intention to co-organize a Vietnamese version of the Taipei International Bakery Show (TIBS) in Vietnam, known as the Vietnam International Bakery Show (VIBS). With over two decades of experience in organizing the show, the show is also well-connected with the global community of bakery exhibitions, including IBIE (USA), iba (Germany), CBE (China), KIBS (South Korea), and the MOBAC Show (Japan).

The MOU emphasizes annual visits, technical exchanges, and business matchmaking between the two bakery associations. Notably, the three parties agreed to collaborate on organizing VIBS, aiming to establish a strong and professional trading platform for domestic and international bakery businesses to meet and create business opportunities.

The Vietnamese bakery market has one of the highest potential in the Asia-Pacific region. In 2019, revenue from the bread and confectionery industry reached 632 million US dollars, with the market expected to grow at 8.6% annually. This presents a golden opportunity for both local and international enterprises to enter and expand their business in the market.

With the management experience and well-established network of TIBS, VIBS will be run as a professional exhibition. The exhibition features a diverse range of categories, including bakery machinery and equipment, bakery tools, processing machinery, packaging machinery, decorative accessories, freezing and preservation equipment, raw materials, coffee and beverages, and related food items. The goal is to provide a comprehensive experience for exhibitors and visitors alike.

VIBS also integrates vibrant and valuable events. Thought leaders and experts of the baking industry will host seminars to share experiences, discuss current issues, and explore trends in the development of the Vietnamese bakery industry. In addition, the 2nd Vietnam Bakery Cup will take place at VIBS, providing an opportunity for talented Vietnamese bakers to engage, learn, and enhance their professional skills.
