Characteristic

The proportions of graywacke give the wines a fruity a fruity character to the wines. Clay, on the other hand, provides richness and opulence. The wine has a complex bouquet characterized by blackberries, blueberries, morello cherry and chocolate aromas with a hint of icorice. Multilayered, substantial long finish with fine harmoniously integrated tannins.<br/>After 14 days of maceration the wine is put into small French barriques for further aging for about 15 months. The wine was not filtered before bottling and can thus develop its full aroma.
