Characteristic
**Country:** Slovakia
**Grape Variety:** 100% Riesling

Château Béla has a long history of wine production. Collaboration between Egon Müller from Germany and Miroslav Petrech has led to the creation of a unique range of high-quality wines. Egon Müller recognized the potential of the Béla Castle region for winemaking, focusing on crafting a high-quality dry Riesling intended to rival the finest Rieslings from Austria and Alsace.

**Terroir:**
Château Béla is an ancient estate located along the Danube River in Slovakia, owned by Baron Ullmann. The earliest vines were planted by the Romans, and today, Riesling grapes are cultivated on the slopes below the castle, vinified by Miroslav Petrech and Egon Müller. Since 2001, the estate has been producing some of the best Riesling and Cabernet Sauvignon in the Slovak Republic. In addition to these traditional wines, the winery has begun producing ice wine and herbal wine. Production is based on modern techniques and methods, with an annual limit of approximately 30,000 bottles.

**Wine Quality:**
This Riesling exhibits a bright color and rich texture with a dry palate featuring flavors of ripe peach and mature citrus fruits. The refreshing acidity is captivating, and the finish is long and persistent.
