**Silver Medal 90 Points Decanter / WE92 / JS92**<br/><br/>The estate is located in the small village of Berthiers, in the heart of the Pouilly-Fum&#233; region. Jean-Claude Dagueneau, the founder and winemaker of the estate, is a key figure in the region, significantly contributing to the recognition of Pouilly-Fum&#233; worldwide. His son, Didier Dagueneau, has also become a legendary figure in the Pouilly-Fum&#233; wine community. Jean-Claude’s wife, Evelyne, still resides at the estate, continuing her husband’s legacy, and the wine &quot;Cuv&#233;e d&#39;Eve&quot; is named in her honor.<br/><br/>**Terroir Conditions:**<br/>The vineyard benefits from a temperate continental climate, located on a south-facing slope overlooking the Loire River. The well-drained soil and excellent sunlight conditions give the grapes rich flavor characteristics. The estate focuses on producing two wines: Pouilly-Fum&#233; (the flagship) and Pouilly-Fum&#233; Cuv&#233;e d&#39;Eve (the commemorative wine), the latter made from 50-year-old vines.<br/><br/>**Wine Quality:**<br/>Notes of peach and white flowers are accompanied by fresh aromas of lemon and citrus. The palate is round, enriched by hints of flint and minerality, displaying complexity and diversity in its subtlety. The finish reveals a touch of orange peel sweetness.
