Originating from the DAIKING Mountain of Pinghe County in Zhangzhou City, the highest peak in south Fujian at the height of 1,544.8 metres, the DAIKING Single Malt Whisky benefits from its altitude and geology which is not being affected by any human activities, and the spring water is filtered and softened by volcanic decite rocks, clean and pure, which is the very place to make finest whisky. The unique climate and terroir prompt the salient difference in daily temperature and change in season which makes the environmental conditions similar to the latitude of 31°North - The cradle of Chinese Baijiu. Under such circumstance, the difference in temperature greatly prompts the whisky to be immersed in the nature and reach to ideal mutuality. Suffice to say, this causes greedy angels, an average annual whisky evaporation rate of 6~10%, so-called angel's share.
