IPF 2020 set to usher in new business opportunities for industry players

As a leading professional trade fair for three specific industrial sectors in Bangladesh, the 15th Bangladesh Int’l Plastics, Printing & Packaging Industry Fair (IPF) will run February 12-15, 2020 at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) expo zone. This year, IPF is increased by 10% in the exhibition space.

The annual event is jointly organized by Bangladesh Plastic Goods Manufacturers & Exporters Association (BPGMEA) and Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service Co., Ltd. With 14 years of solid foundation and strong connections with the plastics, printing and packaging elite, IPF is ready to generate substantial business opportunities for both exhibitors and trade visitors.


Bangladesh rising as new manufacturing hub in South Asia

As the new manufacturing center in South Asia, Bangladesh is expected to register an economic growth of 8% in 2020 after ending 2019 with excellent overall performances. Among the most important industries in Bangladesh, plastics, printing and packaging sectors have together been playing a crucial role in bolstering the country’s economic development, with over 3,000 manufacturers contributing US$2 billion in annual sales of plastic products in the domestic market.
