On the characteristics of flow ripple and slipper oil film of a swap plate piston pump
This study is for swash plate piston pump. The software Pumplinx was used to simulate and reduce the flow ripple and cavitation of the pump operation. The slipper is also studied to analyze the oil film characteristics, pressure and thickness, on the plate surface of the pump.

Case Study – Parametric Study of Pressure Reducing Valve
The study describes a performance analysis procedure of a pressure reduce valve. The dynamic characteristic are developed using theoretical methods. A hydraulic system analysis software is adopted to study the effects of key design parameters on the valve steady and dynamic responses.

Hydraulic Turbine Access System with Six-DoF Active Motion Compensation
This study aims to investigate a new six-DoF turbine access system (TAS) for offshore wind farms, improving crew safety. The proposed system includes the novel system integration of mechanism design and a hydraulic driving system. The dynamic co-simulation analysis of TAS is achieved by ADAMS and MATLAB to verify the active motion compensation performance. And a full-scale test rig is set up for experimental verification.

Design, control and implement of a precise servo intelligent pneumatic sewing mechanism of mask production for epidemic prevention
A pneumatic servomechanism-based mask sewing platform was fabricated with a simple structure, energy-efficiency and quick operation. The platform integrated with a sewing machine has two rod-less pneumatic cylinders, an auxiliary cylinder, and a fabric-clamping mechanism. A mathematical model for the pneumatic servo control system was developed. An intelligent parameter adjustment feature with a sliding-mode controller was formulated. A personal computer–based system was developed with MATLAB for real-time control and experimentally verified as being capable of automatically producing masks.

Study on Tornado-like Pneumatic Vacuum Generator
In this study, a brand new design to generate the vacuum effect is proposed. The basic idea is to imitate the geometry of a tornado. It is well-known that tornado is one of the severest natural disasters in the world. However, tornado is also able to generate a huge vacuum suction force to lift cars and even houses on the ground into the air. Using CFD simulations, a novel vacuum generator based on tornado-like vortex flow is successfully designed and implemented.
