Characteristic

 

Focusing mainly on 3D printed implantable medical devices, ITRI operated Factory of Intelligent Additive Manufacturing Medical Devices (FoiAM-MD) located in the STSC, which the facility provides a turnkey solution for 3D printed medical device smart manufacturing process and equipment. In addition, the facility provides a one-stop service which includes design, trial run production, and commercial production. The factory registration and the application for ISO 13485:2016 certification had accomplished in 2018. FoiAM assists the medical device firms in developing the ISO 13485 certificated 3D printing devices and accelerating the product industrialization.
