| As the most effective international marketing platform of the plastics and chemistry industries, our fairs kept their promise of creating new business opportunities. Plast Eurasia Istanbul 2011 and ChemEurasia 2011 took place with the participation of 1025 companies and representatives from 44 countries, and attracted 31,503 foreign and domestic professional visitors. Plast Eurasia Istanbul, a trade fair that plays an important part in the expansion of the industry to new markets and influences machinery and technology investments, was held concurrently with the ChemEurasia Fair between October 27 and 30, 2011. The events took place in 9 halls over an exhibition area of 75,000 m². 1025 companies and representatives from 44 countries took part in the events, and were very satisfied with the results. As the plastics industry in Turkey exports to 200 countries and achieves an annual growth rate of 13%, Plast Eurasia Istanbul remains the most important international trade event in the Eurasian region, and has enjoyed a 30% increase in the number of participants for 2011. Intensive marketing and promotion efforts within and outside Turkey ensured that the plastics and chemistry industries met with professional visitors. The Plast Eurasia Istanbul and ChemEurasia fairs attracted 31,503 professionals from 74 countries including Turkey. Professionals from 13 countries including Bangladesh, Belarus, Brazil, Denmark, Finland, South Africa, South Korea, Ireland, Congo, Hungary, Norway, Tajikistan and Oman visited the fair for the first time this year. Bringing together professional visitors from all over the world with participating companies, Plast Eurasia Istanbul 2011 and ChemEurasia 2011 fairs built an important marketing platform that enabled the industries to expand to new markets and build new working relationships. PLAST EURASIA ISTANBUL 2012 - the 22nd International Istanbul Plastics Industry Fair will be organized by TÜYAP in association with PAGEV (Turkish Plastics Industrialists Research, Development and Education Foundation) at the TÜYAP Fair and Convention Center, Büyükçekmece, Istanbul between November 29 and December 2, 2012. |
